A Thanksgiving Reflection by Sister Loretta Cornell, MHSH President

At this time of Thanksgiving, there is much going on in our Community and in the
world that needs our prayers. This is a time to take a few minutes in our day to
thank our Triune God for all that we have been given. Now is the time to reflect on the life that we have, the family and friends that we have, the breadth and the beauty of God’s creation that we see, hear, smell, touch and taste.

I want to express the gratitude of the Mission Helpers of the Sacred Heart
for each of our Sisters, and our families, friends, donors, Sisters in Spirit, Lay
Missioners and staff.  May we all have a most blessed season of Thanksgiving.
I wish each of you peace, love and prayers.

One Response to IN GRATITUDE…

  1. Yes, there is much to be grateful for these days. As I have been reading Pope Francis’ ‘first’ new Apostolic Exhortation “The Joy of the Gospel”, I realize how our Mission Helper Constitutions reflect the spirit of Pope Francis! Mission Helpers strive to incorporate the vision and mission Pope Francis has set for us in the 21st Century! There is no doubt we invite all those who are eager to explore the MHSH vision and mission in tune with Pope Francis to do so! Happy Thanksgiving!
